Fashion-Enter Ltd and Islington Council are on a mission to rejuvenate the famous Fonthill Road back to its former glory days of the 1980’s. Once a shopping and wholesale destination where women and fashion buyers from all over the UK would visit to buy their bridal and evening wear, Fonthill Road was the mecca of show stopping occasion wear.
Today, Islington is home to a vibrant community of up-and-coming fashion designers and creative entrepreneurs as well as the original traders still operating on the once famous street. It is now time to put Islington and Fonthill Road back on the fashion map….
